Privacy Policy

The short version

DroppERK is a read-only content site about crypto wallets and security. We have no accounts, newsletters, comment sections or checkout flows, so we collect very little data. This page explains exactly what we collect, what we never collect, and who processes data on our behalf.

What we collect

Because the site has no login, forms or user-generated content, we do not ask you for personal information. The only data generated while reading is standard technical request data processed by our hosting infrastructure to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse:

• the pages requested and basic request metadata;
• your IP address and approximate country, as seen by the edge network;
• browser type and basic device information sent automatically with every web request.

This data is transient, is used only to operate and secure the site, and is not assembled into per-visitor profiles.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect names, emails, account IDs or payment details — there is nowhere to enter them.
• We do not use advertising pixels, remarketing trackers or cross-site identifiers.
• We do not use device fingerprinting.
• We do not collect, store or sell personal information for marketing.

Analytics

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement tool, to understand aggregate traffic such as page views, referrers and approximate country. It does not track individuals across sites and does not set advertising identifiers. We do not currently run Google Analytics or any equivalent third-party analytics service. If a new analytics tool is introduced in the future, we will name the provider and describe what it measures on this page before it is enabled.

Hosting and infrastructure

DroppERK is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data such as IP addresses and request logs under its own privacy policy. We do not operate this infrastructure ourselves.

Third-party links

Our pages may link to third-party websites for reference, such as wallet documentation or security resources. We use no affiliate or partner links and receive no commission for sending visitors elsewhere. When you follow those links, the destination site's own privacy policy applies, and we are not responsible for their data practices.

Data retention

We do not maintain a separate database of visitors. Technical request data processed by the hosting and security infrastructure is retained according to that provider's standard retention periods and used only for operation and abuse protection. We do not maintain per-visitor profiles.

Changes to this policy

If we begin collecting anything beyond the technical data described above, we will update this page and its "last updated" date before the change takes effect.
